eChalk would like to recognize Don Bosco Preparatory High School, in Ramsey, NJ for their outstanding website.
As eChalk expands and grows, we are finding out that it is being used in more diverse and strategic ways every day. One example of this is our April Model Website, on Bosco Preparatory High School.
Don Bosco Prep was founded in 1915 as a private, Catholic college preparatory high school for boys, grades 9 through 12. The school provides academics at the AP, honors and college prep levels, and encourages participation in extracurricular activities, clubs and athletics. Their mission statement reads: “Each student is encouraged to grow in faith and love, to mature in character and responsibility, and to develop his intellectual, physical and artistic talents in order to become effective citizens in the Church and in the world.”
With a well organized website so full of resources, the guys down at DBPHS are able to participate in their education from the classroom and beyond.
The website incorporates not only student and employee resources, but arts and directory sections, all located as tabs at the top of the page . Easy access to group pages, photo galleries, and blogs combine to create a collective resource for the entire community. Not to mention The wonderful photo banner!
The website also features separate RSS feeds for announcements, sports schedules, school news and more, creating an organized and aesthetically pleasing interface.
