Michael Dixon’s high school uses an online lesson planner to distribute information from the classroom to administrators and into the home. This is particularly helpful for students home sick or out of school for an extended period of time. The high school also uses online communication to vote for homecoming queen, senior superlatives, and student government. Michael explains how online communication is a large part of daily process at the school, but not just for students. Faculty have active dialogues outside of weekly staff meetings with online discussion boards. Greene County High School uses online communication in a creative way so that all stakeholders participate.
